The task must follow certain rules to be completed fully. The rules that must be included are as follows:
Match on Action - this is to ensure that all action filmed is matched as the shots change and ensure that the continuity is uninterrupted.
Shot/Reverse Shot - this occurs usually in conversation when the camera films a person over the shoulder of another, then the camera switch's to filming over the other persons shoulder and then switch's back to the original shot filming over the first perons shoulder.
180 Degree Rule - this rule is to enusre that characters on screen are always moving in the same direction and they are always the same way round on screen so that it doesn't look like they have changed direction or changed position in the shot.
60 Degree Rule - this rule states that if you are going to move the camera, you should move by a large amount (i.e. 60 degrees), so it doesn't seem that the scene is moving a round too quickly.

My Group and The Task
The members of our group are: Me (Luke Cowie), Ed Barnes and Mark Posnett.
Our task is to complete a 30 second clip in which someone enters a room and meets with another person, then a few lines of dialogue will be exchanged between the two people. Our idea is for one man to walk up a set of stairs and knock on the door at the top of the stairs. The man in the room will open the door and great the man entering with a hand shake. They will then move across the room and sit down at a desk and exchange a few lines of dialogue. The members of our group will have there own jobs in the production and they are as follows: Mark (Camerawork), Ed (Editing) and Luke (Acting/Camerwork).
